Vote for Dimwit on Patch Together

I discovered Patch Together (which is similar to the t-shirt website Threadless) yesterday and I decided to throw Dimwit into the fray. Please stop by and vote for my entry, the winner of the contest gets their toy made.

If you make it over there, thanks ahead of time!

Another Throwback: Monsters teaser

Here is the colored and lettered page 2 of "Nightmare on Puppet Boulevard"

This is my newest build that I started last night, I'm calling it Dimwit. It doesn't look like much now, but I'm happy with the smoothness I'm getting and after another watersanding session tonight it will start to come together.

I forgot to mention that I started a deviantART account recently:

Finished Eggplant Pirate

I still need to varnish him but he's pretty much done.

I redid the mouth on the pirate last night and started painting. I should be finishing him up tonight and then moving on to the next project.

I spent most of this past weekend playing with tin foil, wire, and Super Sculpey. Here are my first two attempts. The Eggplant Pirate is my current WIP.

Webcomics you should be reading

I don't read a ton of webcomics (partly due to the computer screen burning a hole in my head), but here are a few that you should check out. I'm sure I'm missing a slew of other great titles, feel free to let me know what I'm missing.

Johnny Zito and Tony Trov - The Black Cherry Bombshells
David Gallaher and Steve Ellis - High Moon
Cameron Stewart - Sin Titulo
Chris Eliopoulos - Misery Loves Sherman
Peter and Bobby Timony - The Night Owls
Mike Hawthorne - Hysteria

Frank Zombie P.I. - Page 2

Bryan had some time off work today and he was able to finish penciling page 2. We'll be showing the first five pages of FZ and I know Bryan has started in on page 3, so keep an eye out for updates.

Here's what I'll be grabbing this week

Locke & Key: Head Games #3

Back to Brooklyn #4

Solomon Grundy #1

Strange Adventures #1

Another week and another round of comics. I'll actually be picking up two DC titles this week (which is rare for me) since I'm a Bizarro and Gundy fan. I may end up adding a Wild Card in there like last week but I haven't decided on that yet.
