An Explanation

I feel I need to finally share with all of you why I've been having so many sales in the Gorilla Mouth shop lately and what's been going on in my life the past few months. It's not that I want to get rid of these pieces that I've spent a lot of time on just to cash in. The truth of the matter is that I'm currently in the final stages of a dissolution and times are tight for me right now.

I'm not writing this for your sympathy, but I wanted to explain that I'm not creating these pieces just to hawk for money. Pieces like BaoBomb took a lot of time and effort to execute and to sell it lower than I wanted to isn't something I like doing, but desperate times call for desperate measures. I'm sure many of you this day in age know exactly what I'm talking about.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and for all of the support you've given me along the way. I truly appreciate everything and finding this niche of artists is one of the best things to happen in my life.

Summer Cleaning

I'm doing some summer cleaning here in the Gorilla Mouth homebase and I'm selling some rough resin toys that I've decided to take another route with. All of these toys aren't sanded and will need washed down with acetone before painting. I have a new roommate moving in soon and I need to make some room. Give these limited run DIY toys a home!

All of these resin creations are available on the Gorilla Mouth shop now.

Tenna is 3 1/4" for $10

Barfnik is 4 1/2". Each Barfnik comes with a plaque to be mounted on after it's finished for $12

The Barfnik mini is 2" for $5

It's said that BaoBomb was once the great protector of the villagers of Tu'R'Land against the destructive giants of the land. He threw his bombs with a mighty swing of his trunk, stopping his nemesis well before they set foot near the cities and towns he protected.

While BaoBomb was loved across the land, his demise couldn't have been prevented. BaoBomb had a deep love with the fruit of the Slumber Forest, a forest that no mortal dared set foot in. While BaoBomb had made this gluttonous trip many times, his last trip wasn't cautious enough. Although the Slumber Forest had many great treats, it was also the home to many heinous variations of vegetation. One such thing was the Devourer Plant, a breed of plant that took over trees, land, and anything else it could root into. Not only was this plant a menace it grew fast. While BaoBomb was busy with his delectable fruits, he didn't notice that he had walked through a Devourer Plant patch along the way. The seeds of the plant had stuck to his feet and the juices dripping from his hands activated the seeds which began to sprout. By the time that BaoBomb had noticed the plant crawling up his leg, it was already too late. The plant had deeply rooted into the ground and quickly climbed up his body locking him in place.

BaoBomb wasn't discovered until a brave soul went looking for the giant. The man knew BaoBomb had disappeared to the forests before and that's where he had to be. Unfortunately the man found him rooted in place. His famous bomb still in his hand, but instead of a flame, a plume of fiery foliage now represented the wick. The people of Tu'R'Land still make an annual journey to BaoBomb to pay their respects to the great defender.

BaoBomb is a custom 10" Dr. Bomb that now stands 14" and 3 lbs.

BaoBomb will go on sale June 3rd @ 11:00am (EST) in the Gorilla Mouth shop
